The Irish Red Cross has extensive experience working with migrants and refugees in Ireland through holistic programmes focused on accommodation, integration (language and employment pathways), protection, mental health and psychosocial support (MHPSS), information and signposting, and Restoring Family Links. Alongside programme delivery, we have experience in applied research and evidence generation, including our Safe Homes research on community hosting for people displaced from Ukraine. We are also partners in several EU-funded projects focused on refugee and migrant mental health, including the IFRC-led EU4Health project and the recently awarded AMIF - IMPACT-H project. As well as the mixed management funded English Language, Mental Health, Employment Skills and Family Reunification (EMERge) programme and multiple programmes funded under the Irish Refugee Protection Programme.

 We believe we could bring access to diverse migrant and refugee communities for participatory research, piloting and evaluation activities, implementation expertise, applied research experience and stakeholder engagement with government. If there is anyone you think would be worth speaking to, or if you know of any consortia that may be looking for a partner with our profile,  we would really appreciate any possible introductions or suggestions. If possible, we would also be very interested in having a short call with you to better understand how organisations such as the Irish Red Cross can become involved in Horizon Cluster 2 projects, how we can best position ourselves as a consortium partner, and any advice you may have for first-time applicants.
