We are going to apply to Horizon Europe under the call “Hydrogen valley”. We plan to scale up our regional H2 valley initiation to reach a small scale H2 Valley by 2027. We will build on the experience of large and small scale H2 valley Horizon projects.

We are looking for follow up partners in Czech Republic who would like to participate in this project. They will receive a replicable business plan as an output of the project. We are currently discussing what production, distribution, storage and local end-use of hydrogen distribution (H2) are missing to be a fully-integrated and functioning “H2 valley” (H2V) in the Gävle, Sandviken and Hofors regions.  See the image below. Once those are found we will invite companies with solutions to our need with a minimum TRL level of 6 to help our region become a functional H2 valley and same time help these companies reach TRL 8 by 2027.

The follow-up partners will also participate in demonstration activities and receive tools to improve the public perception of H2 ecosystems in their regions helping the development of the H2 valley initiative in the future.
