When: |
26/02/2026 1:00 PM - 5:30 PM |
Where: |
TC Praha |
EU Battery Calls 2026: Early Information and Partnering Opportunities: The objective of this international networking event is to connect Bavarian and Czech stakeholders from industry and academia to initiate joint EU project proposals in the field of battery technologies. Participants will benefit from:
-
early, call-specific information directly from National Contact Points, and
-
targeted opportunities to identify international project partners for concrete project ideas.
Advancing European Battery Technologies: The European Union is making targeted investments in next-generation battery technologies to strengthen Europe’s competitiveness and strategic autonomy. Funding priorities include:
- advanced and sustainable battery materials,
- innovative cell and battery pack concepts,
- efficient and scalable battery production processes,
- applications in mobility, energy and industry.
Who should attend? This event is particularly relevant for companies, universities and research organisations from Bavaria and the Czech Republic that:
- are active in battery technologies (materials, production and/or applications),
- have or plan to develop a concrete project idea to be funded within one of the EU funding calls in 2026/2027,
- are looking for cross-border project partners from Bavaria and the Czech Republic
- are interested in relevant calls in Horizon Europe and related EU funding programmes
What to expect?
- Overview of battery-related EU calls 2026 in a concise, structured, and practice-oriented way.
- Bavarian-Czech expert networking - meet partners from both countries working on complementary battery topics or offering solutions to advance your project.
- Pitch Talks: Present your project idea - state your interest in the registration process, and you will be reached directly by the organiser. The template for your max. 5-minute-long pitch is here.
- Matchmaking and consortium building - clarify roles and define next steps, with a clear focus on proposal submissions in 2026.
