The Programme Committees

The Programme Committees are a tool for monitoring and controlling the implementation of the Framework Programme by the EU Member States. The members of the Programme Committees represent and promote the interests of the Czech Republic, which should contribute to a higher involvement of Czech entities in the EU Framework Programme, currently the 9th EU Framework Programme for Research and Innovation Horizon Europe (2021-2027) and its complementary programme EURATOM (2021-2025).

The members of the programme committees are appointed by the Ministry of Education and Science from the position of the central government body of the Czech Republic responsible for the Czech Republic's participation in the Framework Programmes. One of the members of the Czech delegation to the thematic configurations of the Programme Committees is always also the National Contact Point (NCP) for the relevant research and innovation area.
