Interim Evaluation of the Horizon Europe

04/05/2025

On 30 April 2025, the European Commission published the interim evaluation of the Horizon Europe Framework Programme. The report confirms that investments in research and innovation have a strong multiplier effect – each euro invested in Horizon Europe could generate up to 11 euros in GDP growth over 25 years. This underscores the strategic importance of the programme for the EU’s long-term competitiveness and sustainable development.

The Technology Centre Prague has prepared an expert commentary titled "Horizon Europe at Mid-Term: What Does the Interim Evaluation Show?" (available in Czech only), which presents the key findings of the evaluation to the Czech research and innovation community.
