ERA 2024 Knowledge Day and Brokerage Event

On 9 November 2023, in Brussels, NCP_WIDERA.NET – the network of National Contact Points for Widening Participation and Strengthening the European Research Area (WIDERA) – will organise an onsite ERA Knowledge Day and Brokerage Event. The event will focus on the ERA 2024 call topics specified in the Horizon Europe WIDERA Work Programme for 2023-2024.

In the first part of the event, participants will gain insights into the new ERA calls and topics for 2024, as outlined in the WIDERA Work Programme 2023-2024 (Widening Participation and Strengthening the European Research Area). These presentations will be conducted by officers from the European Commission. Additionally, an expert from the Research Executive Agency (REA) will explain the project proposal evaluation process and share insights from the previous evaluation cycle.

Towards the end of the plenary session, an ERA project coordinator will offer tips and tricks for proposal preparation.

The second part of the event will provide an opportunity for participants to engage in matchmaking with potential ERA Call 2024 participants and stakeholders through pre-arranged bilateral meetings. This aims to identify possible collaborations and streamline the establishment of Horizon Europe ERA project consortia.
