ERAC Opinion on the Next Framework Programme for Research & Innovation

On June 28, the European Research Area and Innovation Committee (ERAC) adopted its opinion on "Guidance for the next Framework Programme for Research & Innovation". ERAC advises the Council, the Commission, and Member States on strategic research and innovation policy issues. The opinion highlights key recommendations including ensuring a stable and adequate budget, strengthening successful instruments like the ERC and Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions, balancing fundamental and applied research, reducing administrative burdens, and expediting the association process for neighboring countries sharing European values.
