Twinning 2021 – no. of submitted projects

The first Twinning call under Horizon Europe closed on the 18th of January 2022. This was the most ambitious Twinning call to date and it generated significant interest for EU research funding. The call Twinning (HORIZON-WIDERA-2021-ACCESS-03) received 391 proposals. The total available budget for this call is EUR 149 million and, according to the Work Programme 100 projects are expected to be funded with an estimated EU contribution of EUR 0.80-1.50 million per project.
