EIT RawMaterial Competition 2021

The EIT RawMaterials Regional Innovation Competition aims to support the preparation of start-ups for foreign expansion. Selected start-ups and SMEs will become part of the largest innovation community for raw materials sector, participate in inspiring workshops, gain valuable know-how from experienced experts and three winners will receive financial support of up to 5,000 euros. The advantage of this competition is that it is intended only for applicants from Central, Eastern and Southern Europe, so there is a relatively high chance to succeed and at the same time it is a ticket for other EIT RawMaterials opportunities. The competition aims at innovative solutions for obtaining mineral resources based on, for example, artificial intelligence, machine learning or virtual reality, the production of sustainable materials for future mobility such as batteries, fuel cells, permanent magnets or lightweight materials, or business models based on circular economy principles.
