Applying for an ERC grant in 2027 calls: what you need to know

ERC released an important update on its plans for the upcoming ERC Work Programme 2027, including the introducing of stricter application measures for proposal resubmissions. More information can be found on ERC webpage. The motivation for these changes is presented by prof. Maria Leptin here.  

In light of the increasing number of applications and the resulting changes, the ERC Scientific Council underlines that applicants should ensure that their research idea is sufficiently mature before submitting a proposal to an ERC call.
