Presentations from the National information day on Life Sciences

On 15 January 2026, a National Information Day focused on new opportunities under the Horizon Europe programme was held. The event was organised by the Technology Centre Prague in cooperation with the Czech University of Life Sciences Prague.

The programme featured contributions from European Commission representatives: Marco Citelli presented current funding opportunities in Cluster 6 – Food, Bioeconomy, Natural Resources, Agriculture and Environment. Marek Veselský focused on bioeconomy-related topics, while Andrea Hagyo introduced the activities of the Joint Research Centre (JRC) in agricultural and environmental research.

Jana Čejková and Naďa Koníčková presented open calls within the climate, soil and ocean missions. Monika Tomaniová introduced opportunities offered by EIT Food, and Kateřina Silberová provided information on the LIFE programme. Thomas Jung, a participant of the funded PurPest project, shared practical experience from project implementation.

The event concluded with a presentation by Patrik Toula, who shared examples of good practice in supporting applicants for Horizon Europe projects.
