HEI Initiative Pilot Call outcomes

On 15 July 2021, the EIT’s HEI Initiative published information on the 23 projects selected as part of the EIT Initiative for Higher Education Institutions (HEI) Pilot Call for Proposals (see our previous information here and here). In total, 135 HEIs and 140 non-academic organisations from 32 countries will benefit from the EIT’s HEI Initiative. Each selected pilot project can be awarded a maximum of EUR 1.2 million with up to EUR 400,000 for Phase 1 (July – December 2021) and upon successful completion a conditional EUR 800,000 for Phase 2 (January 2022– July 2023). Three HEIs from Czechia are among full partners in winning consortia:

• University of Pardubice (INVENTHEI project),
• VSB - Technical University of Ostrava (SUA project) and
• CTU in Prague (TANDEM+ project).
