EIT announced 2025 Innovation Awards

The winners of the 2025 EIT Awards were announced at the 2025 EIT Innovation Awards Ceremony that took place on 25 November 2025 in Budapest, Hungary. The awards are granted to outstanding innovators from across the EIT network for their breakthrough solutions in fields ranging from health tech, the circular economy and critical raw materials to AI-driven advances and sustainable urban mobility.

The winners in following categories are:

EIT Changemaker Award (recognising leaders within the EIT Community and beyond, whose activities and achievements generate a significant social impact)

  1. Laura Laringe (Germany), nominated by InnoEnergy, for co-founding reLi Energy, which improves battery performance and lifespan through smart software
  2. Laurie Lancee (Netherlands)
  3. Farnaz Baksh (Estonia).

EIT Innovation Team Award (celebrating diverse groups that have developed a unique product, service, or process with high added value and breakthrough potential):

  1. AI Automated Industrial Analytics (Italy), nominated by EIT Manufacturing, for creating a human-centric AI platform that supports early issue detection and data-driven decisions on the factory floor.
  2. BRIGHT Project Innovation Team (Estonia)
  3. VoiceMed (Italy). 

EIT Venture Award (highlighting successful start-ups within the EIT Community that address societal challenges and show strong growth potential):

  1. ABLE Human Motion (Spain), nominated by EIT Health, for developing accessible, affordable motorised exoskeletons that support mobility and gait rehabilitation
  2. Sofi Alchemist (Finland)
  3. Digiclean Solutions AB (Sweden)

EIT Public Award the community’s favourite finalist, chosen by public vote (Online voting was open ahead of the ceremony):

Each award comes with a monetary prize of €50,000 (first place), €30,000 (second place), and €20,000 (third place). The Public Award has only one winner.
