EIC Board recommendations on participation of widening countries

The European Innovation Council Board published a statement on participation of innovators from the widening countries (including Czechia) to the EIC calls. The document presents a set of recommendations to increase the participation and improve current situation of widening countries. It stresses an active identification of potential applicants, a targeted provision of information and support or an increase in fairness of the evaluation process including a higher percentage of evaluators coming from widening countries (30 %) or elimination of potential bias based on the country of origin of the applicant.
