Main objective of the TWINNNG instrument is the institutional networking enabling transfer of knowledge and skills and exchange of best practices, raising the research profile of the institution and its staff, and a special focus on strengthening research management and administrative skills. Up to 30% of total budget can be spend on R&I, out of which at least 50% goes to the coordinator. The overall call budget of 258 MEUR will allow up to 210 projects to be funded, using the project budget between 0,8 – 1,5 MEUR. The call opens on 8 January 2026 with a deadline on 9 April 2026.
It is a Coordinated and Support Action (CSA) with a funding rate 100% in lump sum financial model. Although the project duration can be up to 3 years, the applicants do not have to divide the activities into a larger amount of Work Packages (as they usually do under the lump sum model) as there will be only one reporting period (at the end of the project).
