Mission - Climate-neutral and Smart Cities

Cities cover about 3% of the land on Earth, yet they produce more than 70 % of all global greenhouse gas emissions. The goal of the misssion Climate-neutral and Smart Cities is to support, promote and showcase 100 European cities in their systemic transformation towards climate neutrality by 2030. Climate City Contract is a new model of governance.
