New external EIC Fund manager appointed

European Commission appointed an external manager of the EIC Fund to take investment decisions in SMEs selected for funding under the EIC Accelerator programme. This step means that the EIC is now fully operational and no further delays in grant and investment agreements signatures with successful companies are expected. The selected external Fund manager is company AlterDomus from Luxembourg. In a further step to simplify decision making, the Commission removes the need to approve EIC Accelerator funding through College-level decisions. Arrangements for the permanent management of the fund are expected to be in place by the end of the year. Details are available here,
