Closure of the Culture, creativity and inclusive society 2022 Call: submission numbers

The European Research Executive Agency has published the submission figures of the Cluster Culture, creativity and inclusive society 2022 call. In total 745 proposals have been submitted. The call closed on the 20th of April. 

This Horizon Europe Cluster 2 call was dedicated to research in social sciences/humanities and cultural heritage/CCSIs. Together 29 topics were open in three research destinations: 

For the "Democracy and Governance" topic 241 proposals were submitted, of which 27 will be funded. For the "European Cultural Heritage and the Cultural and Creative Industries" call 335 proposals were submitted, of which 27 will be funded. For the "Social and Economic Transformations" call 169 proposals were submitted, of which 30 will be funded. 

The evaluation of the proposals will start presently with the support of external independent evaluators drawn from the European Commission database of experts. The evaluation results are expected to be communicated in July 2022. 

The next Cluster 2 call with 27 new topics will open in 2023.
