Open Science: the Challenges for Universities

The Open Science Expert Group of the International Association of Universities (IAU) released a report titled Open Science, Challenge for Universities, urging the higher education community to collaborate in shaping the adoption of Open Science principles.

The report aims to raise awareness among higher education leaders about Open Science and the institutional transformation it requires. It recommends that the universities endorse the four major university-specific open science priorities of scientific integrity, open collaboration within national science systems, openness to society, and the creation of an international open science community,

The IAU Open Science Expert Group brings together representatives from all regions of the world. The Chair of the expert group is from Linnaeus University, a Member Organisation of EOSC-Association.
