Ukrainian NCPs on a study visit to TC Prague

27/11/2025

On 25–26 November 2025, National contact points (NCPs) from the Ukrainian Horizon Europe Office visited the Technology Centre Prague as part of a study visit.

The head of the office, Igor Taranov, together with his colleagues Nataliia Didenko, Olga Kurykina, Oleksandr Moiseiev and Maksym Kolisnyk, presented the activities of the Kyiv office and met with their Czech counterparts providing the services of NCPs for the Horizon Europe (HE) programme.

The aim of the study trip was to gain an overview of the services and tools offered by the National Information Centre for European Research at the Technology Centre Prague to support the participation of Czech teams in HE. The experience of Czech NCPs from different areas of the HE programme was complemented by discussions on opportunities and challenges related to the involvement of Ukrainian researchers in HE projects.

The Ukrainian guests also visited the Czech University of Life Sciences in Prague, where Patrik Toula from the Rectorate provided information about the university, its engagement in international cooperation and the support provided by project managers to university teams. This was followed by a tour of selected facilities, during which the Ukrainian visitors had the opportunity to explore unique research infrastructures and establish contacts for future joint projects.
