POLARIN: Transnational Access Call (TNA)

The EU funded project POLARIN, Polar Research Infrastructure Network, invites the scientific community to submit proposals to access 42 research infrastructures (RIs) in both polar regions.

POLARIN is an international network of polar research infrastructures and their services, aiming at addressing the scientific challenges of the polar regions. The network includes a wide array of complementary and interdisciplinary rop level research infrastructures: Arctic and Antarctic research stations, research vessels and incebreakers operating at both poles, observatories, data infrastructures and ice and sediment core repositories.

Proposals submitted to the POLARIN TNA CALL 2025 must address at least one of the following research priorities:

1. Sea Ice and Polar Oceans in the Climate System

2. Polar Ice Sheets, Glaciers and Sea Level

3. Terrestrial Carbon Cycle and Pertmafrost

4. Polar Ecosystems and Biodiversity

5. Atmosphere Dynamics and Chemistry

6. Paleoclimate Processes and Variability

7. Humans, Societies, and Global Changes

Deadline for submission of proposals: 30th of October, 2025
