EIC Board on the use of consultants

28/02/2025

The EIC Board has published its observations on the use of consultants for the EIC applications following frequent requests from applicants, National Contact Points and other relevant stakeholders.

In the document, the EIC Board comments, for example, on the question of whether it is necessary to use consultancy services if the applicant wants the application to succeed in the call. It highlights a number of services that are provided free of charge to applicants - whether by National Contact Points (NCPs), the Entreprise Europe Network, Technology Transfer Offices or the EIC itself.

Among other things, the document draws attention to some unfair practices of consultancies that may not be obvious to applicants at first glance and to which they should pay attention before signing a contract. Further information is available here.
